Dear Friends,
I hope you were able to spend time with loved ones during the Christmas holiday. In our house, Christmas is celebrated many times over as we get together with my side and my wife’s side on the weekends leading up to Christ’s birth. There is something very special about that time of year… maybe it’s because we have the opportunity to reconnect with relatives and friends we haven’t seen in months.
Connections are important, especially when they are face to face. When we can shake hands and maybe even hug to show how excited we are to greet each other. Meeting and talking with people, even before I was elected to office, has always been something I’ve not only enjoyed but have been passionate about. Things can get lost in translation via social media, emails, and even letters!
However, when you have the opportunity to break bread together and speak what’s on your mind, amazing things can get accomplished.
So, I’d like to personally invite you to an evening with me at the Hudson Manor on February 3rd, 2022. My good friends Lt Governor Mark Robinson and NC Speaker of the House Tim Moore will be there as well. It’s going to be an amazing night, full of great speeches and fantastic food!
