Mask Mandate: GOP Sends Letter to School Board

Dear Franklin County School Board:
The Franklin County Republican Party (Franklin County GOP) has issued this resolution on mask wearing in Franklin County Schools as well as during extracurricular school events:
The Franklin County Republican Party supports the right of parents to choose how to protect their children's health, including the freedom to choose whether or not their student should wear a face mask while attending a Franklin County public school. In addition, the Franklin County Republican Party holds that no student shall be subject to penalty for failure to wear a mask during school or school event.
The Franklin County Republican Party includes more than 15,000 registered Republican voters in Franklin County.
