John Edwards Inducted into NCGOP Hall of Fame
At the North Carolina Republican Party's Hall of
Fame Awards Banquet November 17 at the Embassy
Suites in Cary, John Edwards said he was "stunned"
to be a NCGOP Hall of Fame inductee and thanked
fellow Republicans for their grassroots activism.
Edwards joked that he doesn't pay anywhere near
what the other John Edwards pays for his haircuts.
John became active in politics in 1982, was the
Elon College Republicans chairman in the mid 1980s
and is the current chairman of the Franklin County
Republican Party. Rep. David Lewis of Harnett
County presented the award and said John maintains
the 2nd District Web site, the Franklin GOP Web
site and has helped the GOP and candidates with
media training and campaign commercials.

Broyhill award at the NCGOP Hall of Fame Awards
Banquet. Robert was the Franklin GOP chairman when

Robert, that number decreased 5 to 1. He has been
active in Republican politics since 1976 and has
traveled the state as chairman of the North
