TWO WRITE-INS VIE FOR CLERK OF COURT SEAT

Frances Hunt and Dan Vinson are two write-in candidates for Clerk of Superior Court and they must have their petitions turned in for verification by the end of June. If either or both are qualified as candidates, their names will appear on the November 7 ballot challenging Democrat incumbent Alice Faye Hunter.

My name is Dan R. Vinson.
For the past four years my wife, Eunice and I have owned and operated
Eunice's Family Flooring located in Youngsville, NC
I am a veteran of the United States Air Force. I served as a Security
Policeman in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War.
I am a graduate of Chowan College, Murfreesboro, NC and North Carolina State
University in Raleigh, NC with a major of pre-law.
After Graduation I worked in the Transportation Industry with various
Trucking Companies in Sales and operations management for the past
twenty-five years.
I attend and am a member of Faith Baptist Church in Youngsville, North
Carolina.
I have been elected as the American Legion Post Commander for Post 52
Franklinton, North Carolina.
I am a Life Member of the Vietnam Security Police Association.
